Maroon and White Fun Run

A running tradition in Aggieland!

New date, same run! Registration is now open for the 2026 Maroon and White Fun Run! Join us for a morning of fitness and camaraderie on campus. The event will take place Sunday, May 17 at Aggie Park. Lace up your running shoes and be part of this beloved Aggie tradition!

Participants who registered by April 10 are guaranteed a medal. Any remaining medals will be distributed in the order registrations are received, while supplies last. All participants will receive a fun run shirt.

Race Information

$30 per 5K participant.
$20 for the 1-mile run for children 12 and under.
All ages are welcome.
Service dogs and wheeled devices are allowed for participants with disabilities and for those accompanying small children.
Bikes, scooters, skateboards, roller blades, and similar items are not permitted on the course.

7 a.m. – Packet pick-up begins; expo opens for vendors
7:45 a.m. – Kids 1-miler (ages 12 and under)
8:15 a.m. – Runner start
8:20 a.m. – Walker start
9:30 a.m. – Raffle drawing (must be present to win)
11 a.m. – Expo closes; teardown begins

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will take place in the General Services Complex lobby on the following dates and times:

Thursday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, May 15, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Because the building closes at 5 p.m., the east main entrance (closest to the railroad tracks) will remain open for packet pickup until 6 p.m. Participants may find it most convenient to park in the lot behind the building and enter through the east main door. Free 30-minute parking is available in marked spaces, and most Texas A&M parking permits are valid in Lot 88; for details visit Transportation Services parking information.

Event Parking

Complimentary parking will be available for registered participants and volunteers, for the duration of the event only, in Lots 48, 60 and 62, as well as the Hagler Center lot.

The University Center Garage and Gene Stallings Blvd Garage will be available for hourly paid parking.

Benefitting the Staff Emergency Fund

Created to help members of the Aggie family in need, the Staff Emergency Fund provides limited financial assistance to Texas A&M University staff members experiencing a temporary hardship due to a significant life event. The Maroon and White Fun Run is a fundraising event and the net proceeds will go to support the Staff Emergency Fund, an account held at Texas A&M Foundation.
