Texas A&M University is committed to helping our staff pursue lifelong learning opportunities. With support from President Young, and through the extensive efforts of the University Staff Council, Human Resources is proud to announce a new Staff Tuition Assistance program beginning with fall 2016 classes. The Staff Tuition Assistance Program will be administered as part of our WELLNESS WORKS! program under the financial wellness pillar. This program will assist with the cost of undergraduate or graduate courses in a degree-seeking program taken at Texas A&M University (which includes Galveston, the School of Law, and the Health Science Center).
This program is a great way to enhance your career or pursue higher education opportunities and professional development. Tuition assistance will be processed as a scholarship and will pay up to $1,000 per 3 credit hour class for a maximum of 2 classes for the fall and/or spring semesters. Eligible staff members enrolled in a degree-seeking program at Texas A&M will automatically receive this scholarship during the fall and spring semesters. Staff must first be admitted to Texas A&M through the Office of Admissions. No additional application process will be necessary.
Visit the Staff Tuition Assistance Program webpage for details about the program, eligibility and Educational Release Time.
